RFID Animal ID Reader Function

Animal Identification RFID readers facilitate the precise identification of livestock, such as the animal's details, species, weight, vaccine history, etc., thereby enhancing the management of the animals by providing efficient and accurate tools. These devices allow for seamless application in tasks like animal inventory, intelligent weighing, quarantine testing, and milking stall position recognition.

Applications scenarios:

1. Inventory management: RFID readers automate the process of capturing individual animal data from their unique ID numbers and animal codes, reducing manual inventory management processes, paper waste, and boosting efficiency.

2. Intelligent weighing and grouping: When livestock, such as pigs, cows, and sheep, are weighed, the RFID reader on the weighing platform captures their RFID ear tag information, which is then uploaded to the grouping management system along with their weight data. The system groups animals based on their weight, species, age, etc., and opens the corresponding gate for them.

3. Quarantine testing management: The RFID ear tag records the animal's vaccination history from birth to present. During quarantine testing, the RFID reader scans the tag to access this information.

4. Automatic feeding management: The RFID reader identifies the ear tag information of the animals approaching the feed station, records their feeding time, identity information, departure time, etc., and uploads it to a database. When the RFID reader recognizes the identity information of the feeding animal and uploads it to the feed management system, the system issues instructions to control the machine to dispense the appropriate feed, ensuring the cleanliness of the feed, preventing animal illness caused by feed contamination, and improving feeding efficiency.

5. Milking stall position recognition: The RFID reader above the milking stall automatically recognizes the ear tag information of the cows in the stalls below, obtaining the location information of the cows, recording the milking time, number of milkings, stall number, etc., ensuring traceability of the milk quality of the cows, allowing quick and accurate problem detection when problems arise, and facilitating the inspection of the stall machinery and the health checkup of the cows.
